How we work
Every Avertiz engagement, regardless of scope, follows the same disciplined sequence — because a recommendation is only useful if it's grounded in what's actually happening on site, and only valuable if it's genuinely implemented.
Understand
We start by understanding your operation, risk profile and current HSE position — not a generic questionnaire.
Assess
Findings are drawn from direct observation, documentation review and structured discussion with your team.
Design
Recommendations and systems are designed around how your organisation actually works.
Implement
We support implementation directly, so plans translate into practice, not just paperwork.
Verify
Independent verification confirms that changes have genuinely taken effect on the ground.
Improve
Systems are reviewed and refined on a defined cycle, so improvement continues after the engagement.
Understand & Assess
We begin with structured conversation and direct site observation, not a standard intake form. Documentation, process flow, workforce structure and existing HSE practice are all reviewed against how the operation genuinely functions — not how it's described on paper.
Design & Implement
Recommendations, systems and documentation are designed around what your organisation can realistically sustain. Where the engagement includes implementation support, we work directly with your team so the outcome is used, not just delivered.
Verify
Changes are checked against evidence — observation, documentation and, where relevant, independent audit — to confirm they've genuinely taken effect, not just been signed off.
Improve
HSE performance is not a one-time achievement. Systems, documentation and capability are reviewed on a defined cycle so improvement continues after the initial engagement ends.
Why this matters
A great deal of HSE work in the market is delivered as a fixed, generic package — a course, an audit template, a document set — applied the same way regardless of the client. That approach produces something that looks complete on delivery, but often doesn't hold up when it's tested by an inspection, an incident, or simply by daily operating pressure.
Working through Understand, Assess, Design, Implement, Verify and Improve in sequence, on every engagement, is how we keep the output tied to your actual operation rather than a template with your name on the cover page.
