Contractor & Workforce Solutions
Managing contractor safety performance, placing professional HSE resources on your site, and providing ongoing managed HSE coverage — three connected ways we help you cover HSE where you don't have it in-house.
Why contractor safety and resourcing sit together
On most Indian industrial and construction sites, the highest-risk work is done by contracted labour, not direct employees — yet contractor oversight is often the thinnest part of a site's HSE system, handled through a pre-qualification form completed once and rarely revisited. At the same time, many organisations that need dedicated HSE presence on site can't yet justify a full internal department. Both problems are usually solved by the same kind of support: professional HSE people, with real technical oversight behind them, embedded where the work is actually happening.
The resourcing side isn't limited to filling a single HSE officer vacancy either. Multi-site operators often use it to standardise contractor oversight across locations that previously ran on different unwritten standards; project teams use it to scale HSE headcount up during peak mobilisation and back down at close-out, without carrying that cost year-round.
Contractor Safety Management
Contractor Safety Management addresses one of the most persistent risk gaps on Indian sites — safety performance of contracted workforces, who often carry out the highest-risk activities with the least direct oversight from the principal employer.
The challenge
Contractor safety is frequently managed through a pre-qualification form completed once and never revisited, with limited on-site verification that contracted crews are actually working to the standards agreed on paper. Responsibility becomes genuinely unclear when an incident involves a contracted worker.
How Avertiz helps
Avertiz builds contractor safety management as an ongoing system, not a one-time onboarding step — covering qualification, induction, permit-to-work discipline, on-site supervision and performance tracking across the life of the contract.
Professional HSE resources, matched to your operational requirement
Not a recruitment agency — a safety officer or HSE manager placed through Avertiz is supported by the same methodology and technical oversight that runs through every other part of our work. Deployment can range from a few weeks covering a specific project phase to a multi-year embedded placement.

Why contractor oversight is a legal question, not just a good practice
Came into force 21 November 2025, consolidating 13 earlier central labour laws (including the Factories Act, 1948, the BOCW Act, 1996, and the Contract Labour Act, 1970) into a single framework. Central Rules were notified in May 2026; state-level rules are being adopted progressively. During this transition, provisions of the earlier laws may continue to apply where the new Code or rules are not yet fully notified for a given state or sector.
Covers safety, health and welfare of construction workers, including work-at-height and site safety obligations, administered through state BOCW rules and welfare boards.
Who this is suitable for

- Multi-site businesses needing consistent contractor oversight without parallel teams at each location
- Construction and project teams needing HSE resources that scale with mobilisation and demobilisation
- Organisations wanting a single accountable partner across contractor safety, resourcing and ongoing coverage
