Terms & Conditions
The general terms that apply to your use of this website and to engagements with Avertiz. Specific commercial terms for a training programme, audit or consulting engagement are set out in your individual proposal or agreement, which take precedence over this general summary.
Use of this website
This website is provided for general information about Avertiz's training, auditing and consulting services. Content is prepared in good faith but is provided "as is" without warranty of completeness or fitness for a specific purpose. Nothing on this website constitutes legal, engineering or regulatory advice specific to your organisation — see our Disclaimer for more detail.
Engagement terms
Specific scope, fees, timelines, cancellation terms and deliverables for any training programme, audit or consulting engagement are agreed in writing on a case-by-case basis, typically through a proposal, statement of work or engagement letter. Those documents govern the engagement; this page does not.
Intellectual property
Training materials, audit methodologies, templates and documentation developed by Avertiz remain the intellectual property of Avertiz unless otherwise agreed in writing, and are licensed to the client for their internal use as part of the engagement.
Third-party qualifications
Where an engagement involves a qualification awarded by a third-party body (such as NEBOSH or IOSH), that body's own terms and conditions govern registration, assessment and certification. Avertiz's role is limited to coordination, teaching and candidate preparation, as described on the relevant programme page.
Changes to these terms
These general terms may be updated from time to time; the version published on this website at the time of your enquiry applies unless superseded by a specific written agreement.
